Central Hub Village
The Central Hub in Rîșcova, operated by Katalyst, serves as Moldova’s training and demonstration centre for green agri-food innovation. Located in a renovated former abattoir powered by solar energy it hosts trainings, workshops, and national network meetings. The facility of 600 m² integrates a certified shared kitchen, production and storage spaces, conference and hosting spaces and a small products exhibition/shop to promote products of all partner hubs. It also operates an organic agriculture demo-plot and connects and supports small farmers from the village of Rîșcova.

Katalyst supports other hubs in the network through financial and legal expertise, sales points in both its rural and urban locations and provides marketing support such as cross-selling and targeted product placement with its existing horeca network.

Central Hub City
The Central Hub extended its operations to Chișinău, where it serves as a promotion and sales space for products and events of all hubs. The shared kitchen in the city is focused on culinary events and catering services, which allows Katalyst to channel fresh produce grown in Rîșcova into value added ready foods.

In addition to its promotional role, the shared kitchen in the city is focused on culinary events, practical workshops, and catering services tailored to both private and corporate clients. This urban kitchen allows Katalyst to transform the fresh produce grown in Rîșcova into high-quality ready-to-eat foods, developing new recipes, testing innovative processing methods, and demonstrating green culinary techniques to the public. Through these activities, the Central Hub strengthens the connection between farmers and consumers, promotes responsible food production, and expands opportunities for small producers to access new markets and diversify their income.
